The representation of SMEs
The AKV EUROPA is an independent Austrian Association, founded in 1924. The purpose of this non-profit organisation is to protect the assets of its members in Austria and abroad and to raise their operational efficiency. Members of the AKV EUROPA are entitled to the following services: Collection of debts Normally, business partners pay their bills in time however, some tend to delay payments. In most cases, a short call or a letter can speed up the process. But if your business partner still refuses to pay, the AKV EUROPA helps you to save time and money by taking care of the issue - in Austria and abroad. Representation in insolvencies If payment does not occur after several warnings, the case of insolvency may apply. In cases of insolvencies, AKV EUROPA reports your claim at the insolvency court and achieves a maximum dividend for all creditors. As a Priority Association for the protection of creditors, the AKV EUROPA has the right of full inspection of any records regarding insolvencies in Austria. Due to this advantage, creditors get the best representation. Weekly AKV-Informationen and the "Vertrauliche Liste" Within the weekly AKV-Informationen all new insolvencies in Austria are published: Voluntary agreements, bankruptcies and private bankruptcies with exact data and dates; moreover the current standing of the insolvency procedures in question. The AKV-Informationen includes the "Vertrauliche Liste" which shows all debtors who are in financial difficulties so that AKV-members can react in time. Subscription of the AKV-Informationen including "Vertrauliche Liste" via e-mail costs EUR 145,-- p.a. Please note that all correspondence and information delivered by the AKV EUROPA will be written in german. Credit information about companies At the beginning of a new business relationship, debtors normally pay cash. But after a certain time, some customers will ask for payment by instalments. In this case, the AKV information department provides you with detailed information. As a member of the AKV EUROPA, you can choose between several options, beginning with short telephone information (40 per year for free), written single information and written or online information in connection with subscription for regular creditability requests. Furthermore, there are three classes of priority. As a special service, AKV EUROPA offers its members a "monitoring service" for the control of their main customers in Austria: If there is any critical economic movement affecting these companies (e.g. extrajuridical operation, bringing in complaints, execution of payment), the AKV-member will be informed immediately. |
